Joseph Spencer

Dental Prosthetist

Joseph began his training in the profession in 1995, working evenings in the family business, and became qualified with a Diploma of Dental Technology in 1997. He “cut his teeth” working at a Denture Clinic in the city for a number of years after qualifying, and started full time at Adelaide Hills Dentures in 1999. He continued his training in the industry in NSW and qualified as a Dental Prosthetist in 2004 with an Advanced Diploma of Dental Prosthetics, the most up to date training for the profession available in Australia.

Joseph has participated in ongoing education, including accredited courses such as IMPLANT RETAINED OVERDENTURES.

Joseph has been a member of the Australian Dental Prosthetists Association (SA) Inc. since 2004, and voluntarily served in executive roles such as Secretary, Vice President and President, until the SA branch merged into the national association a number of years ago. He is currently a board member of ADPA, the national association representing the Dental Prosthetist profession in Australia, and has held the role since the inception of the association.

Thais Petersen

Dental Technician & Receptionist

Thais Petersen has worked for 12 years in the dental industry. She has worked in various roles within Dental practices since 2012. She completed a certificate IV in dental nursing in 2012, and in 2016 completed a diploma of Dental Technology. She began working at Adelaide Hills dentures at the beginning of 2023.

Joanna Bagley

Dental Technician & Receptionist

Joanna Bagley began at Adelaide Hills Dentures at the beginning of 2009. She worked as a laboratory assistant in the UK for many years before moving to Australia. She turned up at just the right time, when Adelaide Hills Dentures needed a Dental Technician to help in the Laboratory. Joseph and Neville had to work out a balanced schedule to ensure they could equally share Joanna's expertise and experience.
